Kudus KONI Office Searched, Kejari Seizes Documents Related To Alleged Corruption Of Grant Funds
JATENG - The District Attorney (Kejari) of Kudus Regency searched the office of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) Kudus and confiscated a number of important documents and a laptop related to the alleged corruption case of grant funds, Thursday, November 2.
"Our presence at the KONI office is to look for several documents that have not been given by the witnesses who were questioned, so a search was carried out," said Head of the Kudus Prosecutor's Office Henriyadi W. Putro in Kudus, Central Java (Central Java), Thursday, November 2, confiscated by Antara.
He revealed that the search started from 10.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the documents obtained included documents related to accountability reports for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 fiscal years, as well as several electronic items such as laptops.
The contents of the laptop, he said, would be checked to be used as evidence. Meanwhile, other documents confiscated are supporting documents for the management of grant funds and submission of proposals from each sports administrator.
"Later it will be inventoried and sort out which one is related to the accountability report of KONI grant funds," he said.
Meanwhile, the determination of the suspect, he said, was after the required evidence was fulfilled, including today's search activities in order to complete the existing evidence, including from BPKP.
The number of suspects, he added, could not be disclosed, because it had to be adjusted to the existing evidence.
