Minister Basuki Calls China's Hangzhou City A Reflection Of Indonesia's Gold 2045, This Is The Explanation
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said, Indonesia needs to follow the example of Hangzhou City in China for increased connectivity in the country.
He considered that adequate connectivity in the city had reflected the ideals of Indonesia Gold in 2045.
"In my opinion, what we want to aspire to in 2045, now it is in Hangzhou. Therefore, as CTM, I have brought 22 people who are handling IKN, 3 director generals of marga, creating works, and housing, then landscape experts who are there, architects you bring all of them," said Minister Basuki at the World Habitat Day and World City Day 2023 event at the PUPR Ministry Building, Monday, October 30.
Minister Basuki said Hangzhou is a small town in China, but already has adequate connectivity to connect to other cities.
"He (Hungzhou City) is not 10 big cities in China, but already has an MRT with 24 lanes (lines), and the fast train has passed," he said.
"We are looking for a piece of land that is not open, everything is closed. So, I think the exhibition is good, we have aspirations," added Basuki.
Basuki added, one of the keys to prosperity in a country is adequate connectivity.
Therefore, with the commemoration of World Habitat Day and World City Day 2023, Basuki invites the entire community, especially young people, to start changing behavior for the better.

The behavior intended in this regard is how to start changing work creation development programs towards a sustainable/green city in 2045.
"If that doesn't happen, it means that we are redundant to commemorate World Habitat Day and World City Day. If you want to live both water and sanitation, but if you want to prosper (there is development) connectivity," he said.
