Kasad Anupat Bintang Kartika Eka Paksi Utama Kepada Chief Of The Australian Army
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Agus Subiyanto, on behalf of the Republic of Indonesia, conferring Kartika Eka Paksi Utama Star to Lieutenant General Chief Of The Australian Army (Kasad Australia) Simon Andrew Stuart at the Army Headquarters (Mabesad), Jakarta, Monday 30 October.
The award was given as a form of appreciation for the existence of military cooperation between the Indonesian Army and the Australian Army.
The procession to award the State Honorary Sign in the form of Kartika Eka Paksi Utama Star to the Australian Kasad Kasad took place during a Military Ceremony at the Headquarters Ceremony Field.
The basis for the awarding is based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 54/TK of 2023 concerning the Awarding of the Honorary Sign of Kartika Eka Paksi Utama Star.
After the ceremony to award the honor of the country, there was also a souvenir exchange between Kasad, who came from the two friendly countries.
Kasad Australia's visit this time was an honorary visit between the two at Headquarters since he officially served as Kasad Australia on July 2, 2022. This visit is also an important step in efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Australia in the defense sector.
