Rosan Roeslani Resigns, Erick Thohir Will Not Look For A New Deputy Minister Of SOEs
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir opened his voice regarding the vacancy of the position of Deputy Minister (wamen) of BUMN II after being left by Rosan Roeslani. Erick said he did not need any additional new deputy ministers, just one.
For your information, currently there are two deputy minister positions at the Ministry of SOEs. First, Deputy Minister of BUMN I Kartika Wirjoatmodjo alias Tiko. Second, Deputy Minister of BUMN II, previously filled by Rosan Perkasa Roeslan.
"That we will also have one Deputy Minister, Mr. Tiko, who has happened to be on a tour of duty yesterday. So there is only one," Erick told reporters, written on Sunday, October 29.

Erick also emphasized that there would be no recruitment of new people who would occupy the position of Deputy Minister of BUMN II.
"Nothing," he said.
Furthermore, Erick explained that in the remaining one year of his term of office, he will focus on his current position. He emphasized that he would not go anywhere.
"And I'm not going anywhere either, we focus on work, work and work," said Erick.
Regarding Rosan's resignation because he was appointed as the Head of the National Winning Team for the Prabowo-Gibran presidential and vice presidential candidates, Erick did not mind.
"I respect Pak Rosan's decision, and I have discussed internally at the Ministry, I have reported the President," he said.
Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) granted the resignation request of Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Rosan Roeslani who became Chairman of the Prabowo National Campaign Team Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
"The Ministry of State Secretariat has received a letter (resignation) from the Deputy Minister of SOEs Rosan Roeslani on October 24, 2023. The letter has been submitted to the President and today the President has granted it by issuing a Presidential Decree, which states that he has been honorably dismissed," said AAGN Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana, Wednesday, October 25.
