Case Of Alleged SYL Extortion, 55 Witnesses Examined By Police
JAKARTA - The alleged extortion case carried out by the KPK leadership against former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL continues to be investigated.
In its development, Polda Metro Jaya has examined 55 witnesses.
"We have examined 55 witnesses during the investigation stage," said Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, quoted on Saturday, October 28.
The number of witnesses who have been examined has only increased by one when compared to the previous one.
One additional witness, namely the owner of the house on Jalan Kertanegara Number 46, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, with the initials E The examination process was carried out on Friday, October 27.
"We will check the owner of the house," he said.
The examination of E relates to the results of a search conducted by a joint team of investigators on Thursday, October 26. Where, it is known that the house is only a rental for KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri.
"This is an effort made by joint investigators from the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya together with the Dittipidkor Bareskrim Polri to find and collect evidence, which with that evidence will shed light on the crime that occurred and find the suspect," said Ade.

As for several witnesses who have also been questioned, namely, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, driver and personal aide to SYL, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK for the period 2007-2011 Mochammad Jasin.
Then, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK for the 2015-2019 period Saut Situmorang, Director of Public Complaints and Complaints (Dumas) of the KPK Tomi Murtomo, Aide de Camp (ADC) or aide to the Chairman of the KPK Kevin Egananta, and Semarang Police Chief Kombes Irwan Anwar who is also SYL's nephew's husband.
In fact, investigators have also asked for information from Firli Bahuri at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police Tuesday, October 24. The chairman of the KPK was examined for about 7 hours.
