Staff Of The Minister Of SOEs Claims 79 Strategic Projects Have Been Completed
Special Staff to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Arya Sinulingga said, as many as 79 of the total 88 strategic projects targeted by the Ministry of SOEs had been completed.
"When Mr. Erick (Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir) entered, he had priority that strategy was 88 tasks that had to be done. After 4 years we have worked on around 79 strategic work," Arya said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 26.
He added that by the end of this year the progress of the BUMN Ministry's strategic project will reach 90 percent.
"So we only have a year left, so we only have 9 more jobs left," said Arya.
As many as 62 strategic projects from those that have been carried out, explained Arya, include company acquisition projects, unlock value, merger and holding, financial restructuring, organizational reform, business development, and infrastructure development.
"There are 62 projects, there are 2 company acquisition projects, 19 holding and integration merger projects, then 5 unlock value projects and these are worth more than Rp68 trillion, and 7 financial restructuring projects," explained Arya.
In addition, Arya added, the Ministry of SOEs has also completed 17 business development projects, 9 organizational improvement projects and 3 infrastructure development projects.
Arya is optimistic that the strategic project of the Ministry of SOEs that has not been completed can be completed next year.
"By the end of this year, up to 90 percent of the total 88 have been achieved. So hopefully next year we will be thin to 100 percent of the tasks that we have prioritized are all included," he said.
