Kejari Seizes Assets Of 3 Corruption Suspects Of Siak Riau Subsidy Fertilizer

RIAU - Investigators from the Siak District Attorney's Office (Kejari) confiscated a number of assets belonging to three suspected corruption suspects in irregularities in the distribution of subsidized fertilizers in Kerinci Kanan District on behalf of Suparmin, Mina Yumiarti and Suharnof.

The head of the Siak Kejari (Kajari), Tri Anggoro Mukti, said the assets were in the form of vehicles, land and buildings as well as some money. The purpose of the confiscation is in the context of recovering state financial losses allegedly caused in the 2021 case.

"It is true, the Siak Kejari investigating team has confiscated several movable assets and a sum of money related to the handling of corruption cases of irregularities in the distribution of subsidized fertilizers in Siak Regency," he said in Siak, Riau, Thursday, October 26, which was confiscated by Antara.

As for the confiscated assets, continued Kajari, among others, 1 unit of Suzuki brand car with the type of Jeep passenger car model in 2021. Then, 1 unit of Mitshubishi total diesel car type goods car "dump truck" in 2017.

Next, 4 units of shophouses and land with an area of approximately 320 square meters located on Jalan Pertamina Kilometer 72 Dusun Kolim, Seminai Village, Kerinci Kanan District. Then 1 plot of land as well as a warehouse and a house of up to 200 square meters located on Jalan Raya Pertamina Dusun Meranti, Seminai Village, Kerinci District.

Not only that, previously the investigative team had confiscated evidence in the form of cash. Namely, receiving a cash deposit of Rp138 million from the suspect Suharnof.

Investigators have also conducted a search of the suspect Suparmin's house, and found several documents/ items related to criminal acts. One of them was found in cash amounting to 100 US Dollars in the wallet belonging to the suspect Suparmin.

"From some of the items we conveyed, we confiscated them from the suspects Suparmin, Mina Yumiarti and Suharnof," said Kajari.

Furthermore, Kajari conveyed that state financial losses that had been audited for calculating state losses by BPKP amounted to Rp5,431,614,696.87. Kajari said efforts to recover state financial losses were still being carried out.

Investigators, he said, continue to track down assets and accounts belonging to the suspects. In fact, several accounts have been blocked.

"We will gradually withdraw and confiscate the assets that we have blocked. We have blocked several accounts belonging to the suspect," said Kajari Siak Tri Anggoro Mukti.

It is known, there are 6 people who have been named as suspects in this case. Namely, Suparmin who is a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Siak Regency Agriculture Service. Then, Mina Yumiarti as the owner of the Complete Pupuk Kiosk (KPL) UD Riau Rakyat Tani, as well as the wife of Siri Suparmin, and Suharnof as the owner of KPL UD Rangga. The last three names have been detained by the Siak Police detention center.

The other three suspects are SKI as the Head of Facilities and Infrastructure of the Siak Agriculture Service in 2020 - currently, AMZ as the former Head of the Pupuk, Pesticide and Agricultural Machinery Section at the Siak Agriculture Service, and SYJ as the Field Agricultural Extension Officer of Kerinci Kanan District or Verification and Validation Officers.
