JAKARTA - Meghan Trainor opens up about her new obsession with K-pop girl groups (G)I-DLE.
In a new episode of the Workin' On It podcast, hosted by Meghan Trainor and Ryan's brother, the pop star talks about how he started jumping into the K-pop world after working with the girl group (G)I-DLE.
(G)I-DLE recently released their first English EP, entitled Heat, featuring the song Eyes Roll, written by Meghan Trainor and Ryan.
During the podcast, Meghan revealed herself and Ryan wrote the song 'years ago'. And they added two amazing verses to it, and it was the coolest thing ever," Meghan said.
"K-pop is really cool," Ryan added. I became more aware of it through my Twitch. People said, 'Look at this song, it's K-pop', and I'm like, Oh, it's cool
Meghan then talked about how she'studyed' (G)I-DLE, since the girl group recorded Eyes Roll.
"I thought, 'Who is this group?', and I'm obsessed with them," he said.

"They are very beautiful, cool, and talented. It was an honor for them to sing something we wrote, it amazed me," Megan continued, before revealing the producer of the girl group sent them more songs to work on.
So, in my opinion, we have to really explore this. I really want to be committed to K-pop, "added Ryan, and Megan described this industry as the coolest world'.
