Prosecutors Investigate BPJS Health Corruption Case At Namlea Maluku Hospital
Head of Public Relations and Public Relations of the Maluku Attorney General's Office, Wahyudi Kareba, said that the prosecutor is still investigating the alleged corruption case of BPJS Health funds 2020 to June 2023 at the Namlea Hospital, Buru Regency. "For the alleged corruption case of BPJS Kesehatan at the Namlea Hospital, the status is still being investigated," Wahyudi said, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 23. According to him, the emergence of allegations of corruption in BPJS Health funds after a number of specialist doctors together with medical personnel from the Namlea Hospital since the middle of this year carried out a strike. "This action they carried out due to allegations that specialist doctors and medical personnel have not yet obtained their rights," Wahyudi said. The intended medical personnel are in the form of incentive payments or additional income allowances (TTP) that the Buru Regency Government has not yet done. "Because the status of the case is still at the investigation stage, the prosecutor is only limited to collecting data by summoning a number of parties for questioning," Wahyudi explained.
