Preventing Brokers And Jastip Of Ed Sheeran Concert Tickets In Indonesia, Promotor Tightens Rules
JAKARTA - PK Entertainment, as the promoter of Ed Sheeran's concert at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Central Jakarta on March 2, 2024, will tighten ticket sales.
Harry Sudarma as Co-founder and COO of PK Entertainment said that tightening in purchasing tickets was an effort by promoters to support better music performances. Moreover, Ed Sheeran as a performer also has attention to this issue.
"Maybe what needs to be underlined is related to tickets. Because Ed Sheeran is also an artist who really cares about his fans in accessing tickets. So the actions of brokers and so on, he is very aware and also very concerned," said Harry Sudarma to the media crew in Kasablanka, South Jakarta on Friday, October 20.
Later, said Harry, one transaction can only buy a maximum of six tickets. Then, there will be a strict verification process on the day of the event.
"So, all ticket buyers will check the data according to what is entered at the purchase. And if you buy more than one ticket, the registered name when buying a ticket, the person must be present with other tickets," said Harry Sudarma.
"So, you can't go in and change your hands on a ticket carelessly," he continued.
Harry also asked prospective buyers to be wiser in buying concert tickets later. Ed Sheeran's concert ticket in Jakarta is only sold through edsheeran Timafarta.com, with details of prices ranging from Rp900,000.000 to Rp5,000,000.

"As a promoter, every concert we, including and not limited to Ed Sheeran, in fact we always urge music lovers in Indonesia to be wiser in sorting out and choosing the information they take," said Harry.
"For example, there are other sources who claim to be able to sell tickets at a certain price, especially those that are different and more expensive, we may also urge our friends to be more careful, wiser, double check, triple check, information challenge so they don't become victims of hoaxes or victims of fraud," he concluded.
