Jokowi Scheduled To Attend Ijazah Kubro PP Pagar Nusa In Surabaya

SURABAYA - The Central Executive (PP) of Pagar Nusa Nahdlatul Ulama held the Ijazah Kubro and the Inauguration of the Central Leadership of Pagar Nusa for the solemn period 2023-2028 at Jala Krida Field, Bumimoro area, Surabaya, Sunday (22/10). The event is scheduled to be attended by President Joko Widodo.

Ijazah Kubro and the inauguration agenda of the Central Head of Pagar Nusa is a series of agendas to commemorate Santri Day.

"The agenda will be attended by the President, the Chairman of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board, the elderly kiai," said PP Pagar Nusa Chairman M. Nabil Haroen or Gus Nabil as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 19.

The entire series of events at Jala Krida Field was packaged in a different way, namely presenting pencak silat choreography carried out by 99 warriors, 101 orchestrat escorts from "NU Light" and a choir.

Dozens of warriors selected from East Java, they brought modern choreography treats with a duration of seven minutes before invited guests.

"The 99 warriors this week were trained by well-known choreographers, we chose the best warrior in East Java," he said.

A total of 25 thousand participants are ready to enliven the Ijazah Kubro event.

On the other hand, Gus Nabil said that a total of 80 people from various professional backgrounds were ready to be confirmed as the Central Board of Pagar Nusa during the solemn period of 2023-2028.

"Such as Civil Servants (PNS), Police, TNI, businessmen, traders and so on," he said.

It is hoped that after the inauguration, the administrators of Pagar Nusa in the future can immediately carry out work programs according to the results of the organizational congress some time ago.

"Implementing the results of the draft move for the 2023-2028 Pagar Nusa which has been compiled through the FGD by experts and elders," he said.

In the same place, the Chief Executive of Ijazah Kubro and the Inauguration of the Central Head of Pagar Nusa, Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Ganip Warsito, said as many as 450 Pagar Nusa Core Troops were deployed to assist the TNI-Polri ranks in carrying out security schemes.

"They are placed in locations and routes to Jala Krida," said Ganip.

Pagar Nusa also collaborated with 16 silat universities and coordinated with the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI) to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Ganip reminded all soldiers of Pagar Nusa who attended the Ijazah Kubro in Surabaya not to bring private vehicles, but to go in groups using the prepared mode of transportation.

"That was Gus's order that the General Chairperson of the participants were not allowed to use motorbikes because they prevented accidents, as well as potential problems on the way. We coordinated with Pelindo for buses to be directed there," he said.

"We have also divided the location of the VVIP parking or the presidential entourage, VIP, and participants," he continued.
