Former Kajari Buleleng Suspect Of Corruption In Procurement Of Detained Books
DENPASAR - Former Head of the Buleleng District Attorney's Office Fahrur Rozi was detained at the Class II A Penitentiary in Kerobokan, Badung, Bali, Thursday, related to allegations of corruption in book procurement together with CV Aneka Idul.
Head of the Legal Information Section of the Bali Attorney General's Office, Agus Eka Sabana Putra, said the detention was carried out after the Attorney General's Office of Jampidsus investigators handed over the responsibility of the suspect and evidence of corruption on behalf of Fahrur Rozi which was received by the public prosecutor at the Attorney General's Office Jampidsus and the Head of Special Investigation Unit of the Buleleng Kejari at the Bali Attorney General's Office, Thursday, October 19.
The mode used by the suspect Fahrur in the alleged corruption crime was to take advantage of his position at that time as Head of the Buleleng District Attorney in collaboration with CV Aneka Iduli for book procurement.
The suspect Fahrur Rozi, said Eka, is a civil servant within the Prosecutor's Office charged with committing a criminal act of corruption using his position and influence as a prosecutor and as the head of the state prosecutor, conditioning/forcing regional apparatus organizations, schools, and villages to procure books from CV Aneka Iduli with the aim and aim that CV Aneka Ilmu can benefit from book procurement work.
For his efforts, the suspect Fahrur Rozi benefited from the provision of money from CV Aneka Idul.
After receiving the money, the suspect then hid or disguised the origin of the assets from the crime.
The funds received by the suspect Fahrur Rozi from the CV group Aneka Is IDR 46,064,401,795.00 and 82,211 US dollars.

Suspect Fahrur Rozi was detained for 20 days in Kerobokan Prison awaiting the release of the determination on the day of the trial.
"What needs to be underlined is that the Indonesian Prosecutor's Office will not protect if there are unscrupulous prosecutors or prosecutors who commit disgraceful acts. Whoever it is if they commit a criminal act, it will certainly be processed in accordance with the provisions of the legislation," said Eka.
Previously, the Director of CV Aneka Haji Siswanto had also been detained by the Bali Attorney General's Office. The detention was also transferred from the Attorney General's Office to be tried at the Denpasar Corruption Court.
