Wow! There's Meshuggah's Song On Wolfgang Van Halen's Wedding Playlist

JAKARTA - According to People, Wolfgang Van Halen, son of 32-year-old Van Halen legend, married his fianc Andraia Allsop on October 15 at their home in Los Angeles.

Wolfgang walked down the aisle with his mother, actress Valerie Bertinelli, listening to a song written by her father, who died three years ago after battling cancer, for her.

"The song my father wrote for me, it's an instrumental song called 316. It will be a great way to get my dad involved," Wolfgang told People.

The couple hired a DJ for the reception, and Wolfgang joked that some of the songs in their wedding playlist might be unusual.

"I'm sure our DJ will see some of these songs and think, 'What?' he told People.

Meanwhile, Andraia added that when she spoke to the DJ, she was very excited about their vision.

"One thing I want, I want Wolfie to have a moment with one of her favorite bands, Meshuggah," said Andraia.

"They are very progressive metal, in my opinion to anyone, for those who don't know, it's probably going to sound like death metal. Anyone over the age of 40 will be scared. But do you know? This is my marriage and I will do whatever I want," Wolfie said.

Two months ago, Wolfgang told Consequence that he and Andraia had chosen Peter Gabriel's classic song, In Your Eyes as their wedding song. Regarding how they chose the song, Wolfgang said.

"Peter Gabriel is one of our favorite artists. There is a concert before our wedding that we will watch, namely Peter Gabriel, because he is on tour now and he is one of our favorite artists. Likewise with one of my favorite albums of all time, and it is one of my father's favorite albums of all time. So, I just got into a relationship with Peter Gabriel and his music forever, and at the same time, my fianc [was a fan], too. So, we couldn't think of a better song."

Wolfgang, who is the frontman of the band Mammoth WVH, conveyed the news of his engagement to Andraia in a tweet in July 2022. "He said yes!!" he captioned the selfie of himself and his fianc.

Andraia and Wolfgang, who have been a couple for nearly eight years, attended the 64th annual Grammy Awards together in April 2022.
