Motorcycle Thief In Pulogadung Had Fired Four Shots At Residents
The results of the investigation by the Pulogadung Police regarding the shooting of residents while stealing a motorbike on Jalan Porselen IV, Kayu Putih Village, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, it was discovered that the perpetrator had fired 4 shots.
"Based on information from members who went to the TKP (the crime scene), the perpetrator shot four times. The perpetrator shot at the resident who shouted the thief. The perpetrator fired an airgun and hit the victim's arm until it bleeding," said Pulogadung Police Chief, Kompol Triesno to reporters, Monday, October 16.
The police chief admitted that the victim as the parent of the motorcycle owner and the resident who was injured by the gunshot had made a police report at the Pulogadung Police.
"Initially the victim did not want to make a report, finally the victim wanted to make a report. There were 4 witnesses who were examined, including the victim," he said.
Furthermore, the police chief explained that the theft occurred on Sunday, October 15. The perpetrator initially entered the victim's yard to retrieve the motorbike. However, the owner of the motorbike inside the house managed to find out about the theft.

"The owner of the motorbike happened to hear the sound (of the perpetrator's theft) so he (the victim) came out. It turned out that there was a perpetrator who tried to take it using the letter T key. Because the victim was known, there was an attractive tug between the victim and the perpetrator," he said.
After the owner of the motorbike shouted at the perpetrator, the perpetrator fled to save himself. Suddenly the motorcycle owner shouted at the other residents and tried to chase the perpetrator. Residents also shouted at the perpetrator again.
Because of the pressure, the perpetrator fired shots at the residents who were chasing him. The perpetrator's shot hit the body of one of the residents named Amir Syarifudin (75).
"We are conducting an investigation regarding the incident," he said.
