Named A Suspect, COO Miss Universe Gives Clarification
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has carried out a case of alleged sexual harassment by the Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 event committee on October 4. As a result, one person with the initials ASD alias Andaria Sarah Dewia was named a suspect.
Today, Thursday, October 12, Sarah is again undergoing examination as a suspect at Polda Metro Jaya accompanied by her attorney, David Pohan.
On one occasion, Sarah had conveyed her feelings to the media crew. He admitted that he was devastated by the news that had spread to various media.
"I am quite devastated here with all the news in the media, podcasts, I am silent because I am in shock," said Sarah at Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday, October 12.
He admitted that he did not have the slightest sense of revenge with the victims of sexual harassment. However, he was surprised that the victims could treat him like this.
"I just returned from abroad and then I was like this, while I have no personal grudges with all of them, while how can they do that to me," he added.
Furthermore, he also said that he had no intention of harassing the Miss Universe participants. Even until now, he believes that the truth will still be shown.

"I dare to swear that (the accusation) does not exist. I believe the truth will improve, everything will be proven, I did not do, demean the dignity of others or body shaming. I mean come on, I am not a body shaming person and I have no intention of harassing," he said.
Sarah hopes that netizens who follow this case can see from both points of view and stop giving scathing comments about her.
"I beg all netizens and others if they want to see the news heard from both parties, not just one party and those comments are very painful," he asked.
