YOGYAKARTA - A total of 8 national strategic projects (PSN) will soon be established before the change of government of Joko Widodo. The project includes toll road infrastructure, industrial estates, to tourist destinations that are believed to increase the pace of the economy. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, said that the inauguration of the eight projects is expected to be carried out directly by President Joko Widodo so that you can meet directly with local residents who feel the benefits.
"Please, Mr. President, can inaugurate it in the near future. Thank you, Mr. President, who is confident and urged PSN to be completed as well as policy makers who have accelerated the completion of PSN," said Airlangga in a series of National Strategic Project Sewindu events in Jakarta, Wednesday, October 13.
Airlangga said, based on several research institutions' studies, the development of PSN, which has been tried in the last 8 years, was recorded as being able to support economic equality that is useful for the community.
It was recorded that throughout the 8 years of government, there were 25 PSN in Sumatra, 16 in Kalimantan, 17 in Sulawesi, 15 in Bali, Nusa Tenggara, 10 in Maluku Papua, 50 in Java, and 4 PSN at the national level.
