Jambi Prison Will Sanction Its Officers If Involved In The Case Of Death Of Prosecutor Detainees
JAMBI - Jambi Penitentiary (Lapas) confirmed that they would take firm action if any of their officers were involved in the case of the death of a detainee entrusted by the Jambi Police prosecutor recently.Acting Head of Jambi Prison Junaidi Rison said in this case six people had been named as suspects. The decision was made after the case was carried out."Yes, there are six people who have been named as suspects and from the progress of the investigation, it is possible that the number of suspects could increase," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jambi Police, Police Commissioner Indar Wahyu Dwi Septiawan recently.Regarding this case, Indar also said that he had examined 24 witnesses, consisting of 19 detainees and 5 people from Jambi Prison.
