JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto emphasized that the certificate of land management rights for customary indigenous peoples is proof of state recognition of the values of society itself.

"The government protects and guarantees the people of customary rights and includes protecting the land of customary people," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Minangkabau Natural Customary Meeting Institute (LKAAM) of West Sumatra, Fauzi Bahar D'aak Nan Sati, said that in addition to providing legal certainty, the certificate of land management rights for customary indigenous peoples is also to prevent the conflict between the children of the Ministry of Manpower (suku).
