KCIC Still Proposes High-speed Train Tickets At A Price Of IDR 250,000 To IDR 300,000
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) proposes that the ticket tariff for run-up trains be in the range of IDR 250,000 to IDR 300,000 for the premium economy class. The price is not final yet, it is still in the form of reviews.
PT KCIC Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said that the tariff was not an official tariff, but only in the form of proposals submitted by the party. This includes business and VIP class tickets.
Furthermore, Eva said the price proposal had gone through consideration from a survey on willingness to pay or the public's willingness to pay.
"Later we will officially inform what the amount of tickets will be, it's a range. Later for the official, for the economic class, fisrt class and also bussines class, we will convey before the paid ticket period is enforced," he said when met at Tegalluar Station, Bandung Regency, Monday, October 9.
Currently, continued Eva, KCIC is still running theUSH Experience program. Where, during this trial period there is no cost to the public.

"For this stage, it is still free of charge, but the difference is, we invite the public to get to know the business process which will later use the fast train, where a ticket will be given later, no it should not be lost, it must be according to the relationship," he explained.
Eva said, after the paid operation was implemented, it was possible that a discount would also be presented. Even so, Eva admitted that she did not know exactly what discounts would be given.
"So if the program is discounted and so on, we will definitely present it. What will the name of the program be, how much will the discount be (to be notified next). Then we will also present packages with tours or places to stay like hotels and others. We will make such programs attractive to the public to wear short trains," he said.
