Moeldoko Values Indonesia Needs To Have A People's Football League
JAKARTA - The Presidential Chief of Staff, General TNI (Ret.) Dr. Moeldoko, assessed that Indonesia needs to have a People's Football League. This was conveyed by him opening the village soccer tournament Pala Panglima 2023, at the PSPT Tebet field, South Jakarta, Monday, October 9.
The opening was marked by a Kick off kick in the middle of the field. This tournament will compete for the Commander-in-Chief's rotating Cup with the theme Build Sportivity & Harmony.
Moedoko welcomed this event. According to him, village soccer championships are a forum for the community, especially at the lowest level, to actualize themselves, especially in the field of soccer.
"Sports are starting from the village. And activities like this are an opportunity for people at the lower levels to express themselves," said Moeldoko.
