In Order To Reach Target In 2023, Tesla Again Cuts Model 3 And Model Y Prices
JAKARTA - Tesla's sales in the third quarter of 2023 reportedly did not reach expectations, electric car manufacturer (EV) Tesla is again trying to get up to meet this year's target.
Tesla is targeting sales of 1.8 million units of vehicles worldwide by 2023. And now, Tesla is again adjusting the price of Model 3 and Model Y.
The basic price of the Tesla Model 3 in the US, reported by Carbuzz, October 8, is now at 38,990 US dollars, approximately Rp. 611 million from the previous 40,240 US dollars or around Rp. 630 million. Meanwhile, the Long Range version experienced a decline in prices from 47,240 US dollars or Rp. 740 million to 45,990 US dollars or Rp. 720 million. The Model 3 Performance variant, which is the highest variant of this electric sedan, has decreased its price by 2,250 US dollars to 50,990 US dollars or now to Rp798 million.
The reduction in Tesla prices is also aimed at spending the old Model 3 stock because the latest one has undergone an update. Interestingly, the latest Tesla model 3 has not been sold in the US, but Australia, Europe, and China have now obtained a new Model 3.
Meanwhile, the Tesla Model Y also received a discount of 2,000 US dollars, so that the price of the Long Range version fell to 48,490 US dollars or Rp759 million. All of these policies are expected to attract more customers to this brand.
