Toyota Crown Sport Hybrid (HEV), Luxury SUV With The Latest Elegant Design And Technology
Toyota has officially launched its newest model, the Crown Sport Hybrid (HEV) for the Japanese market. The type of SUV will be followed by other variants, namely PHEV, sedan, and Estate.
The latest model of the Crown series comes according to the needs of each individual who are diverse. These four types mark the opening of the second half of this series, one of which is the Sport type which is an SUV and in a new form that offers a suitable beautiful design and fun driving.
According to Toyota Global alert, Friday, October 6, this car has its own aesthetics with the front that has a light pattern like Prius, but is equipped with a lower grip and more sporty airflow. Like SUVs in general, Crown Sport has 21-inch aluminum rims that provide stability and comfort in premium driving.
The most distinctive element of this car is the rear spatbor that extends dramatically from the D pillar to the rear tire. While sepatbor enhances the dynamic impression, the center of gravity is low, the large outer diameter tires highlight the presence of the car, and provide a more attractive look than ever before.
The interior features a luxurious design with a black side of the driver on the dashboard to increase the ability to concentrate on driving, while the passenger side is equipped with materials and a special color scheme to create a calm atmosphere.
This car is also supported by Connected Navigation, which has been integrated with the Toyota Smart Center which uses data obtained from the center. It is also provided a 12.3-inch wide screen that allows users to see high-resolution routes.
Crown Sport is also equipped with the latest Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) feature consisting of the Protective Driving Assist (PDA), helping drivers to perform deselerations and giving good responses to steering wheels.
Other supporting features that are present on the TSS system are Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Panoramic View Monitor (PVM), Safe Exit Assist (SEA), and other radar technology.
The car is equipped with a hybrid system with a 2.5 liter A25A-FXS Series Parallel Hybrid System which helps optimize fuel efficiency of up to 21.3 km/liter. The SUV is equipped with a four-wheel drive system developed by Toyota, namely E-Four.

Toyota Crown Sport will be produced at Toyota Motor Corporation's Tsutsumi plant in Japan and will produce a total of 700 units per month. The model is priced from 5.9 million yen or equivalent to IDR 620 million.
