Glenn Hughes Says Gary Moore The 'Best' Guitarist He Ever Played With
JAKARTA - In a new interview with Rockin' Metal Revival, vocalist and bassist Glenn Hughes, known as "The Voice Of Rock," was asked to name his favorite guitarist he has ever played with.
"I'll list a few for you. I played with [Joe] Satriani, [Joe] Bonamassa, [Tony] Iommi and [Ritchie] Blackmore and Pat Thrall and Brian May and Jerry Cantrell and Warren Haynes," Glenn opened.
"I could go on and list them. And Mel Galley and Tommy Bolin. I mean, I could go on. But my favorite… I really want you to push this one. My dear old friend — we started working together in 1979, he continued.

Glenn then emphasized that all the guitarists he mentioned above were the best musicians. But, Gary Moore is different.
"I mean, there's no lying about it. Again, everyone I'm talking about is an iconic guitar player. I mean, I've played with them all, and I'm very proud to say that. Bonamassa right now is…, Joe is amazing. And Ritchie [and] Tony. But Gary Moore..."
