Asian Games Medal Standings 2023: Indonesia Top 10

JAKARTA - The Indonesian contingent moved up three places to tenth after adding to its medal purse at the Asian Games 2023 Hangzhou, China, as reported by official data as of Sunday, October 1 at 23.00 WIB.

Indonesia was able to add a fourth medal through the cycling BMX Racing sport in the Women's Moto Run 3 event after Amellya Nur Sifa was the one who gained the most points.

In the race held at the Chun'an Jieshou Sports Center BMX Course, Amelya recorded a time of 44.065 seconds in the first heat, 43.290 seconds in the second heat, and 43.918 seconds in the third heat.

Thus Amelya collected three points, two points and one point to make her a total of six points.

Amelya's victory was even sweeter because her partner Jasmine Azzahra Setyobudi won the bronze medal, with a record of 45.244 seconds in the first heat, 43.551 seconds in the second heat, and 43.956 seconds in the third heat.

In total Jasmine collected four points, three and two points, to place her in third place.

In weightlifting, the Indonesian contingent failed to contribute additional medals to the Red and White team. After that, Ricko Saputra who fell in the 61 Kg class and Eko Yuli Irawan who fell in the 67 Kg class were not able to be on the podium.

Meanwhile in the e-sports branch, the Indonesian contingent in the Peace of Elite competition was only able to rank fourth.
