Kaesang Reminds, Presidential Candidates Don't Necessarily Win Presidential Election Without Volunteers
JAKARTA - In his inaugural speech as chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Kaesang Pangarep alluded to the role of volunteers in winning the presidential election. This was conveyed by Kaesang when expressing his gratitude to hundreds of volunteer organs of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who were present at his inauguration as general chairman at the PSI Kopdarnas event, Djakarta Theater, Jakarta, Monday, September 25. Kaesang stated that political parties have an important role in the presidential election. However, he said, a presidential candidate could not necessarily win the fight without the support of the volunteers. "I believe that political parties are important in the presidential election. However, it is not certain that the candidate will win without any support from volunteers who move sincerely and without strings," he said.
