Kapetakan Becomes Prone Area During The 2023 Cirebon Village Head Election
The Cirebon City Police have mapped out vulnerable points in the implementation of the 2023 Simultaneous Village Head Election (Pilkades) in Cirebon, West Java.
"The results of our analysis for vulnerable points are in the Kapetakan area. However, with our security, it will be safe," said Head of Cirebon City Police, AKBP M Rano Hadiyanto, Monday, September 25, quoted by Antara.
Rano admitted that his party deployed 500 personnel to maintain conduciveness and security in the implementation of the 2023 Pilkades in Cirebon. "We also design security schemes at every stage, namely the campaign period, voting and announcement of the winners," he said.
Rano said that the Cirebon Village Head Election stage is currently entering a campaign period.
In its implementation it guarantees security and anticipates things that are not desirable, he said, Cirebon City Police personnel implement a preventive and preemptive security mechanism, as well as mines or visits to candidates for village heads.
"Security mechanisms are of course every stage there are personnel, for example a series of campaigns that are well guarded," he added.

Furthermore, Rano said that during the voting period, a number of personnel would be on standby, especially at polling stations (TPS).
He considered that security was very important for the sustainability of the 2023 Pilkades in Cirebon to run safely and peacefully.
"In addition, we always open the widest possible information regarding the security situation in our respective areas as our material for further security. During the voting period, each TPS will be guarded by security," he said.
