Kiai And Gus In Jombang Pray For Yenny Wahid To Be A Vice Presidential Candidate
SURABAYA - Dozens of kiai and gus from the extended family of the Tambak Beras Islamic Boarding School, Jombang, East Java, Saturday, held a dhikr and prayer together to pray for Yenny Wahid to be able to run as a candidate for Vice President in 2024.
"Today we, the big family of Tambak Beras, pray for their daughter Gus Dur, namely Mbak Yenny Wahid to become the 2024 Vice Presidential Candidate," said the caretaker of the Muhajirin 2 Rice Pond, Gus Wahab Yahya Hamid Hasbulloh at the dhikr and prayer event for Yenny Wahid at the Muhajirin 2 Tambak Beras Islamic Boarding School, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, September 23.
The activity started at 14:00 WIB starting with the chanting of prayer beads from the Tambak Beras santri. The event then continued with reading dhikr and prayer together by Kyai and Gus The extended family of the Jombang Rice Ponding Islamic Boarding School.
Dhikr was led directly by KH Afifuddin Sholeh Hasbullah, and a joint prayer for Vice President Yenny Wahid was led by KH Roqib Wahab Hasbullah.
In his remarks, Gus Wahab representing the extended family of Tambak Beras said that Yenny Wahid was the family of Tambak Beras.
"Today we, the big family of Tambak rice, pray for their daughter Gus Dur, namely Mbak Yenny Wahid, to become a Cawapres 2024. In the past, at the Tambak Beras hut, we also prayed for Gus Dur, who at that time was running for the general chairman of PB NU during the congress in Situbondo," said Gus Wahab who is also Gus commander.

Present in the dhikr and prayer for Yenny Wahid, the family of the Tambak Beras Islamic Boarding School, including the kiai and the Tambak Beras family gus, namely KH Roqib Wahab Hasbullah (the son of Mbah Wahab), KH Afifuddin Sholeh, Gus Wahab Yahya, Gus Najih Farhoq (Sunan Kalijogo 2 species), Gus Ibnu, Gus Imam Muhajir, Gus Faiz, Gus Ridla and Gus Fahri.
