Tersanjung Sung By SBY, Prabowo: I Feel Extraordinary Driven

JAKARTA - The presidential candidate for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto admitted that he was honored to sing a song specifically by the Chairman of the Democratic Party High Council (MTP), Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).

This was said by Prabowo in response to questions about the song SBY presented at tonight's Democratic Party Rapimnas event.

"Not only entertained but entertained," Prabowo told reporters at the JCC, Senayan, Thursday, September 21.

The general chairman of the Gerindra Party even admitted that he felt very respected at the Rapimnas Democrat event who declared himself the 2024 presidential candidate.

"I feel tremendously pushed," said Prabowo.

Previously, the Chairman of the Democratic Party High Council (MTP), Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) sang a song presented to Prabowo Subianto after being declared a candidate for the 2024 presidential candidate at the Rapimnas of the Democratic Party.

SBY said the song titled 'You're Not Alone' from Type-X was a prayer for Prabowo who will fight in the upcoming 2024 presidential election contestation.

SBY hopes that Prabowo will be given the power to carry out his responsibilities and carry out his duties if he is elected as the 8th president of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024.

"I just want to beg God Almighty to give strength and a way to become Indonesia's leader in the future," said SBY at the JCC, Thursday, September 21.

The 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia also prayed that the hopes and ideals conveyed by the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and Prabowo for the Indonesian people could be achieved.

"I am now unanimous in the world of art and sports, on this beautiful and historic night I want to donate one special song, I convey to General Prabowo Subianto," said SBY.

SBY then told that in 1945 there were two American musicians named Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rodgers. Both are lyricists and songwriters entitled you'll never walk alone.

"In 1965 the song was adopted as the theme song for English football club Liverpool. I like the lyrics of Mr. Prabowo, you'll never walk alone like 'you're not alone'," explained SBY.

SBY said that he would sing as well as pray that Prabowo's song you'll never walk alone would be the one who would become president of Indonesia in the future.

"Here's the words 'don't be gamang, don't be afraid to step up and walk forward, maybe there's a storm, there's wisdom, bad weather, don't be afraid of the darkness because behind it there's a golden light in our sky," he said.

"The message to Pak Prabowo is the same as the song. Take the lead with hope because you will never walk alone, that's the song I conveyed. What I sing is the title with you, you are not alone, people's songs, popular songs created by Type-X. Let's both lead Pak Prabowo to become the eighth president of the Republic of Indonesia," he added.
