East Java Governor Khofifah Salurkan Bansos And BLT In Madiun
East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa distributed various kinds of social assistance (bansos), including direct cash assistance (BLT), and productive zakat to the target community in Madiun Raya.
"We continue to maximize the disbursement of various social assistance and BLT. In addition, we also distribute productive zakat. We are trying to complete this September. The main goal is to provide social support to the community," said Governor Khofifah as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 20.
The distribution of productive social assistance, BLT, and zakat was distributed to 519 beneficiaries (PM) at the Madiun Regional Coordination Board (Bakorwil) office on Tuesday (19/9).
Of the 519 beneficiaries, 419 people were recipients of social assistance and BLT as well as 100 recipients of productive zakat.
In addition to receiving social assistance, all beneficiaries also receive food packages. All the social assistance, BLT, and productive zakat are distributed in cash transfer through Bank Jatim.
Governor Khofifah detailed the recipients of the social assistance, namely the Social Assistance Assistance for Persons with Disabilities (ASPD) and mobility aids in the form of wheelchairs to 10 people with disabilities, Family Hope Program Social Assistance (PKH) Plus for 10 elderly PMs, extreme poverty assistance for 138 beneficiaries from Madiun Regency, and 54 beneficiaries from Magetan.
Then, social assistance for women who are socio-economic (WRSE) to 10 beneficiaries, and the Social Assistance of the Joint Business Group (KUBE) to 10 beneficiaries.
As an appreciation to the social pillar and support for the handling of the need for social welfare services (PPKS), Governor Khofifah also handed over compassion to 18 sub-district Social Welfare Workers (TKSK), 20 Tagana people, as well as transportation assistance to 89 PKH Plus Social Assistance in Madiun Regency.
In addition to social assistance, BLT's Tobacco Product Sharing Fund (DBH CHT) was handed over to 30 cigarette factory workers in the Mataraman area, such as Madiun, Nganjuk, and Ngawi. Each cigarette factory worker received IDR 1.5 million.
Khofifah explained that the BLT is a form of utilizing part of the East Java Province DBHCHT to improve the welfare of cigarette factory workers.
"Every year unabsorbed province DBHCHT must be returned to the center (Indonesian Ministry of Finance). Then, we propose what if some are used to improve the welfare of cigarette factory workers, and thank God it was approved," he said.
The governor also symbolically handed over Village Fund BLT to 10 beneficiary families (KPM) with a value of Rp. 300 thousand per month or Rp. 3.6 million a year. Where, the total Village Fund BLT distributed in Madiun Regency amounted to Rp. 28.6 billion and given to the 7,934 KPM.
After the aid handover procession, recipients of the Extreme Poverty (KE) and Joint Business Groups (KUBE) were directed to make savings at Bank Jatim. Group KE received an initial balance of Rp. 1.5 million and KUBE received an initial balance of Rp. 3 million.

Governor Khofifah greeted all the people present in Bakorwil Madiun, and invited them to pray. He also appreciated the people who were orderly following the procession of handing over aid and the event of the Cheap Market.
"Please keep it at all times, keep the crowd together," he ordered.
One of the recipients of productive zakat, Bambang Setiawan (27) admitted that he was grateful for the injection of enthusiasm given by Governor Khofifah. He plans to use the productive zakat to develop his meatball business which has been initiated since one year ago.
"I was helped by this productive zakat. What is clear is that I will use it to increase my business capital. We street vendors in Madiun are very grateful to the Governor for this assistance," he said.
