Prosecutor's Office Arrests DPO Of Embezzlement Case In Lampung
Bandar Lampung (Kejari) District Attorney's Office (Kejari) arrested Sugan Sukianjoyo who was on the People's Wanted List (DPO) for embezzlement.
"The team for arresting fugitives (Tabur) of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office together with the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office and the Bandar Lampung District Attorney's Office made arrests of fugitives in the family Embezzlement Crime case, Sugan Sukianjoyo who was included in the Bandar Lampung Kejari DPO," said Head of Intelligence at the Bandar Lampung Kejari, Rio Irawan P Halim, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 20.
The arrest of the convict DPO was made on Tuesday (19/9) at around 16.00 WIB at his residence in Serpong Park Block E3 No.8 North Serpong, South Tangerang.
"Furthermore, the Lampung High Prosecutor's Office and the Bandarlampung District Attorney brought the DPO in the early hours of Wednesday to the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office. After being successfully secured, the team immediately took the convict to the Bandarlampung District Attorney for the execution process," he said.
Rio said that the convict Sugan Sukianjoyo was legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of participating in embezzlement in the family as stipulated in Article 376 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code as stated in the Decree of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia No. 775 K/Pid/2015 dated September 23, 2015.

He said the convict Sugan Sukianjoyo had been a DPO since December 2017, when he was about to undergo the execution of the verdict.
"The convict Sugan Sukianjoyo was arrested because when he was summoned to be executed to undergo a verdict, he did not come to fulfill the summons that had been delivered properly. Therefore, the convict was included in the DPO," he said.
With the arrest of this DPO, the remaining six fugitives are being pursued.
"There are seven DPOs of the Bandarlampung Kejari, with the arrest of one remaining six DPOs that we are still hunting," said Rio.
