Parents Of Geruduk Gerud Bengkulu, Protests Principal Mutation Which Is Considered To Bring Progress
BENGKULU - Dozens of parents of students from the State Elementary School (SDN) 72 visited the Bengkulu Education and Culture Office (Dikbud), Bengkulu Province, to protest regarding the transfer of school principals by the Bengkulu City Government.
"We came to the office to bring the aspirations of the students and parents so that the principal mutation was canceled, because since being led by the principal the progress has been very fast," said one of the guardians of SDN 72Bengkulu, Sri, at the DikbudBengkulu office as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 20.
He said, during the leadership of the Principal of SDN 72, Heri Marlinda, it was in accordance with the expectations of parents such as the school environment which was already good, the activities of many children and school principals always embraced parents in carrying out various school activities.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Basic Education and Education Division of the Bengkulu Education Office, Deni Apriansyah, said that they accommodate the aspirations conveyed by the parents of SDN 72 Bengkulu City, but cannot make a decision. "We will submit a request from the student's guardian to the Head of the Bengkulu Education Office to find the best solution," he said.

Previously, the Bengkulu City Government transferred officials in Bengkulu, as for the transferred ASN (State Civil Service) as many as 96 officials consisting of 5 Echelon III officials, 32 Echelon IV officials, 12 junior high school principals and 47 elementary school principals.
Assistant III, the Regional Secretariat of Bengkulu City, Tony Elfian, said that the inaugurated officials are expected to carry out the mandate as well as possible. In addition, he did not rule out the possibility that he would transfer before the term of office of Bengkulu Mayor Helmi Hasan, ending on September 24, 2023.
