Responding To When To Announce The Name Of The Vice President, Ganjar: Still Being Discussed, Be Patient

JATEG - The PDI-P presidential candidate (PDIP) Ganjar Pranowo said the coalition of supporting political parties has not yet locked the name of its companion vice presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

"It's still being discussed, just be patient," said Ganjar Pranowo after attending a national lecture at FISIP UI, Depok, Monday, September 18, which was confiscated by Antara.

Ganjar admitted that since his term as Governor of Central Java expired, he has been actively preparing for campaigns for regions in Indonesia.

"I have promised, I will start to be active after retiring as governor, and now I have retired. So, I am now trying to be able to attend from all existing invitations, although I understand for sure I can't fulfill everything," he said.

Ganjar explained that the presence of the national lecture at FISIP UI was due to an invitation.

He appreciated FISIP UI for holding traditions such as this national lecture and other universities can imitate it.

"Not going, but I was invited to come, and I think it's good. I can provide explanations, then discuss. This is an interesting tradition," he said.

Ganjar continued, "This may be developed in other campuses, tomorrow in UGM (University of Gadjah Mada) and others."
