6 Indonesian Representatives Play In The Semifinals Of The Hong Kong Open 2023
JAKARTA Indonesia has six representatives in the semifinals of the Hong Kong Open 2023. The following is their match schedule today, Saturday, September 16. Of the six Indonesian representatives who survived, there were only no mixed doubles numbers. The details are one women's singles, two men's doubles, one women's doubles, and two men's singles.
The remaining one women's singles is Gregoria Mariska Tunjung. The 24-year-old badminton player will be challenged by Japan's first seed, Akane Yamaguchi.
Of the men's doubles, two representatives are still guarding Indonesia's dream, namely the Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan and Leo Rolly Carnando.
Leo/Daniel, who are the sixth seed, will play first. They were challenged by the 2020 Tokyo Olympic champions and eighth seed from Chinese Taipei, Lee Yang/Wang Chi-Lin.
Meanwhile, fifth seed Hendra/Ahsan, will go down to meet Danish pair Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen.
The clash with representatives of Denmark will also be carried out by the only women's doubles left in this Super 500 BWF event, namely Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.
The pair who are placed as seventh seed will face Maiken Fruergaard/Sara Thygesen. This is the first meeting for the two pairs.
The remaining two men's singles are Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. Jonathan will face Ng Tze Yong from Malaysia, and Ginting meets Japan's singles, Kenta Nishimoto.
