Good News, DKI Provincial Government Pays Off Lack Of PJLP Salaries Not In Accordance With The 2023 UMP Next Month
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government revealed that the lack of salary for all other individual service providers (PJLP) in each regional work unit (SKPD) will be paid next month.
This was revealed after the DKI DPRD again collected the DKI Provincial Government's promise to pay off the PJLP salary shortage, which so far is still equivalent to the 2022 provincial minimum wage (UMP).
Assistant to the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary (Sekda) Government Sigit Wijatmoko explained that the payment of PJLP salaries, which this year is not in accordance with 2023, will be priced after this year's APBD changes have been completed.
"If we look at the schedule of the Deliberative Body, this September it has been completed (changed APBD). So, our calculation in October 2023 is that at least they can get a new salary or structure wage. Plus the appearance of the difference between the value of the 2022 UMP and the 2023 UMP," Sigit told reporters, Friday, September 15.
Sigit also promised that there would be no more similar cases in 2024. The DKI Provincial Government, he said, would anticipate an increase in the value of wages equivalent to the UMP next year.
"We use a fast methodology where this methodology has taken into account its connection with risk analysis and workload. This provides certainty for the service provider and service user," he explained.

The amount of salaries for other DKI Jakarta individual service providers (PJLP) in 2023 is being questioned. This is because the value still refers to the provincial minimum wage (UMP) in 2022.
Supposedly, PJLP DKI received a wage of IDR 4.9 million per month this year. However, since January until now, they are still being paid IDR 4.6 million.
Some time ago, Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD questioned the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government regarding the issue of paying PJLP salaries that had not been adjusted to the 2023 UMP.
"There is a miss made by ASN. The UMP has reached IDR 4.9 million in 2023, why is the Governor still being offered (disbursement of PJLP salaries) at the 2022 UMP? This is actually a fatal mistake," said Deputy Chairman of Commission A of the DKI DPRD, Inggad Joshua.
According to Inggad, the DKI Regional Budget is still able to pay more than 87 thousand PJLP salaries with a value according to the 2023 UMP. Given, many budget post grants to other agencies or institutions that can be diverted for more urgent purposes such as employee salaries.
"If there are matters related to the issue of spending money on institutions outside of our executives, it must have an impact related to the interests of the people of Jakarta. We must be selective about grants. Our budget is limited," he said.
