Sanggau Kejari Tahan Tersangka Korupsi Dana Desa Malenggang Rp458,3 Juta

SANGGAU - The District Attorney (Kejari) of Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan has arrested a suspect with the initials BS in connection with the alleged corruption crime (Tipikor) of village funds (DD) in Malenggang Village, Sekayam District.

"Our suspect is detained for further legal proceedings related to allegations of corruption in the financial management of Malenggang Village," said Head of the Intelligence Section of the Sanggau District Attorney's Office, Adi Rahmanto, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 12.

Suspect BS took the remaining funds from the village fund (DD) and the allocation of village funds (ADD) in the 2020-2022 APBDes.

After an investigation and investigation was carried out and based on the results of the audit of the Sanggau Inspectorate, there was a state loss of Rp458.3 million.

"The money was used by the suspect for personal gain," said Adi.

For this case, said Adi, suspect BS had deposited a refund of state losses of Rp. 100 million through the Sanggau District Attorney.

Nevertheless, suspect BS continues to undergo a legal process with the alleged article, namely Article 2 Paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the eradication of Corruption which has been amended by Law Number 20 of 2021 concerning Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption.

"We have detained the suspect BS for committing acts of corruption by enriching himself or with the aim of benefiting himself by abusing his position as Treasurer of Malenggang Village," Adi explained.
