The U-23 Indonesian National Team Is Listened To With Nine Goals Without Reply, This Is The Speech Of The Taiwanese Coach's Heart

JAKARTA - The U-23 Taiwan national team had to bear shame when they met the U-23 Indonsia National Team in the 2024 Group K U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers at Manahan Stadium Solo, Saturday, September 9. They were interpreted as the hosts with a striking score, 0-9!

In that match, Indonesian goals were scored by Marselino Ferdinand (two goals), Ramadhan Sanantha, Hokky Caraka, Ilham Rio Fahmi, Elkan Baggot, Rafael Struick, Pratama Arhan, and Witan Sulaeman.

Taiwan U-23 coach Tseng Tai-Lin said his team gained valuable experience from the match. He also congratulated the Garuda Squad for performing outstanding in that match.

"First of all, congratulations to Indonesia for this victory. We know that this match will be a tough match. This will be a valuable experience for us," said Tseng after the match.

This valuable experience, said Tseng, will be used as a lesson to evaluate the shortcomings of his team and form a better team in the future.

"We can evaluate the team. We will continue to work hard," said Tseng.

On the same occasion, Tseng also made a few comments about the course of the match. He said his team did not start the match well because in the first 10 minutes they had conceded two goals from Indonesia, which was managed by coach Shin Tae-yong.

The mistake occurred when Indonesia scored the first goal easily through Marselino's free kick in the 2nd minute and continued when one of his team defenders made a blunder and led to the second goal scored by Sananta in the 7th minute.

"In the first ten minutes, we made some mistakes," said Tseng.

China Taipei's work in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers was very bad because of the two matches in Group K, against Turkmenistan and Indonesia, they conceded 13 goals and did not enter a goal at all.

"What an extraordinary experience for this weekend, every player puts up a very strong fight, and hopes that one day we can have a team like Indonesia," concluded Tseng.
