Millennial Ganjar Volunteers In Surabaya Move Support Policy To Prabowo
SuRABAYA - Millennial Volunteer Ganjar Pranowo in East Java transferred support to the Indonesian Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).
"We provide this support to Mr. Prabowo Subianto to see the reality of society today. We see Mr. Prabowo who was approved by Mr. Jokowi, approved by Kiai, Alim Ulama, approved by the nation's leaders," said Relawan Chairman Ahmad Saifullah Saturday, September 9.
The volunteers diverted their support by removing Ganjar Pranowo's clothes and attributes.
According to him, Prabowo is a leader who is firm on kindness and dares to take a stand for the truth. Not only that, Prabowo is also a leader who is willing to embrace and persistent in fighting for Indonesia.
"We want to encourage a leader who is firm on kindness, firmly unites, dares to take a stand for truth, wants to embrace, who is persistent in fighting for Indonesia not because of the party's duty but because of the call of the heart," he said.
With unanimous intention, his party declared itself to withdraw support from Mr. Ganjar Pranowo and full totality sincerely gave support to Mr. Prabowo Subianto to become President in 2024-2029.
The volunteers withdrew support from Ganjar because they did not want to be involved in a negative campaign and provided support to the presidential candidate who wanted to continue Jokowi's program without demeaning the opponent.
Strictly speaking, he said, the volunteers said they wanted to be free from this so that Indonesia could be better in the future and could get leaders in a good way.
"We don't want to get involved in negative campaigns, the narratives of demeaning opponents with slander that have been rolling around. We want to let these things go for a true advanced Indonesia," said Saifullah.
It is known that the registration of presidential and vice presidential candidates is scheduled for October 19, 2023 to November 25, 2023.
