Bilateral Meeting Of Jokowi-PM China Generates 6 Agreements From Agriculture To E-Commerce
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo's bilateral meeting and Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta resulted in six agreements and cooperation, among others, in the field of e-commerce and agriculture.
Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, who accompanied President Jokowi in the bilateral meeting, detailed that the agreement includes support for businesses, cooperation in industry, agriculture, fisheries, science and technology, and innovation.
"What the President said, first regarding investment when the President visited Chengdu, July, there were several investment commitments of 21.7 billion (US dollars) and there was an expansion of investment of 44.89 billion (US dollars), it is hoped that the President will carry out the realization immediately," said Foreign Minister Retno when met at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Friday, September 8.
The Foreign Minister explained that President Jokowi hopes that the realization of the formation of the Two Countries Twin Parks will become a bridge for Indonesian and Chinese companies.
But on the other hand, Jokowi wants to explore cooperation in the marine and fisheries sector in the Two Countries Twin Parkster.

In the infrastructure sector, the President conveyed that the results of the satisfactory inspection of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail project, but the issue of cost overruns (cost overruns) could be resolved immediately.
President Jokowi also hopes for cooperation in the urban planning of IKN development which is oriented towards the city of Shenzhen.
In the trade sector, Indonesia asks that agricultural products such as swallow's nest and durian plus can be increased to China.
"Two leaders also hope that direct flights to connect important cities in Indonesia can be increased because they have not reached their maximum capacity," said the Foreign Minister.
