Riko appealed to the public to be aware of the occurrence of fire events, especially forest and land, in the midst of the current dry conditions.
For this reason, the community is expected not to burn garbage without supervision, throw cigarette butts carelessly, and clear agricultural land by burning it.
"We hope that the community can anticipate forest and land fires by caring about the conditions of the surrounding environment, and if there is a fire incident, immediately report to the Belitung BPBD Damkar Post," he said.
