In Order To Finish Quickly, The DKI Provincial Government Is Looking For Funds Apart From The APBD For Renovation Of Marunda Flats Whose Roofs Are Collapsed

The Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Area (DPRKP) Retno Sulistyaningrum said that his party would seek funding other than the APBD to renovate the Marunda Rusunawa.

Retno said that the cost of revitalizing the flats whose roofs collapsed some time ago would be taken from the developer's obligation fund. This fund is usually used by the DKI Provincial Government for the construction of other residents' housing.

"The revitalization (Rusun Marunda) of the SP3L (a letter of approval for the appointment of the use of location or land) or KLB (building floor coefficients)," said Retno in a short message, Friday, September 8.

In line with that, the DKI DPRKP will also revitalize Rusunawa Komarudin in the Cakung area, East Jakarta. Because, currently the condition of the rental of residents belonging to the DKI Provincial Government is also not feasible.

Retno explained the reason why his party did not use the APBD for the construction of the repair of the two Rusunawa. He said that the revitalization of Rusunawa Marunda and Rusunawa Komarudin needed to be carried out quickly.

Meanwhile, the allocation of funds budgeted from the APBD cannot be immediately disbursed.

"Don't use the APBD to speed up the allocation," said Retno.

It is known that the collapse of the roof of the C5 Rusunawa Marunda block building occurred on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at around 21.10 WIB. Luckily there were no casualties in the incident.

A day later, the DKI DPRKP asked residents living in block C to move to the Nagrak Flat which is also in Cilincing District for safety reasons. It was recorded that 451 families who were residents of block C1-C5 were willing to be relocated.

Currently, continued Retno, residents are starting to transport their belongings gradually. Efforts are made, all residents of Block C have moved this September.

"Some residents have transferred goods, which are facilitated by UPRS II, UPRS III, North Jakarta Mayor's ranks and Satpol PP," he added.
