An Earthquake Of M 6.3 Occurs In The Bintang Mountains Of Papua
JAKARTA - An earthquake measuring 6.3 magnitude rocked the Bintang Mountains, Papua.
"The earthquake occurred tonight on Tuesday (05/9) at 22:03 WIB. The point of the earthquake was at a depth of 136 km," the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency reported on X's official account, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 5.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 284 km towards the Bintang Mountains, Papua.
The location of the earthquake was at coordinates 5.43 degrees South Latitude (LS) and 142.92 degrees East Longitude (BT).
