More Than 70 Models Of Artificial Intelligence Language With More Than 1 Billion Parameters Launched In China
Baidu Inc's CEO, Robin Li, revealed at an industry event in Beijing on Tuesday September 5 that more than 70 artificial intelligence language models with more than 1 billion parameters had been launched in China.
Baidu joined several other Chinese companies that launched artificial intelligence chatbots last week after obtaining regulatory approval for mass releases. These companies include face recognition firm SenseTime and intelligence startup made by Baichuan Intelligent Technology, Zhipu AI, and MiniMax.
"We are committed to establishing a solid foundation for major models, empowering the development of the original AI application. Soon launch of ERNIE 4.0 we will empower entrepreneurs to become pioneers in breakthrough AI applications in this era," said Robin Li, Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO Baidu, in Baidu's tweet on X.

Li said that the latest version of Baidu's artificial intelligence chatbot, Ernie 3.5, has twice the processing speed of the previous version with 50% increased efficiency. Li also revealed that Baidu will launch a new version in the near future.
In addition, Baidu AI Cloud revealed four solutions in the administrative, financial, industrial, and transportation services sectors, as well as 11 AI native applications, accelerating the adoption of large models.
