Regarding The Problem Of BUMN Pension Funds, Erick Thohir: It's Been Processed
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir said the process of handling pension funds for state-owned companies that had problems continued to this day.
Erick also admitted that he did not want to rush into revealing the latest data regarding the condition of the BUMN pension fund involved in the alleged corruption.
"Those whose pension funds have been, have been processed, have talked. There will be a process later, yes, be patient," he said after attending the 2023 Congress Festival AKHLAK in Jakarta, Monday, September 4.
The Ministry of SOEs has also coordinated with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Attorney General's Office for follow-up.
Even so, Erick emphasized that the handling of state-owned pension funds was not to imprison people, but to improve the system.

"There is an agreement from us with BPKP and the Prosecutor's Office that this process is not imprisoning people, but improving the existing system. And this has been an old time, not the present era," he said.
Erick also said that he did not want the handling to be mixed between state-owned pension funds, which indicated corruption and maladministration.
"Don't let the corruption mixed up the administrative miss," he said.
