HPM Launches Honda Meta Race Racing Game In The Metaverse World With Millions Of Rupiah Prizes
JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) officially introduced the Honda Meta Race on September 1, 2023 at Honda MetaWorld. Collaborating with PT Telkom Indonesia to bring the Honda Meta Race to the metaverse Indonesia platform, known as MetaNesia.
MetaNesia is a virtual platform where users can interact with each other like in the real world. To play Honda Meta Race, users only need to download the MetaNesia app via Google Play, Windows, or Mac OS.
Head of the Communication Strategy Subdivision of PT HPM, Yulian Karfili, stated that the Honda Meta Race and Honda MetaWorld are a combination of innovation and sports spirit that have become part of Honda's DNA. He hopes that this game will give users pleasure in the virtual racing world.
"We hope that by bringing the excitement of virtual racing to the metaverse through the Honda Meta Race, we can inspire the spirit of 'Everyone Can Race' to more people playing on the Honda MetaWorld, especially young people who are very familiar with the digital world," said Karfili in his statement, Monday, September 1.
In the Honda Meta Race, players can choose to play alone or duel with other players in various challenges. The participants can drive one of the provided Honda models, such as Brio, City Hatchback RS, WR-V, BR-V, and HR-V.
Participants will compete on different racetracks, such as the Surfside Speedway, the Wildwood Circuit, and the Winterstorm GP Circuit. Single players must pass the hurdles to reach the fastest times, while multiplayers can use a booster that increases vehicle speed when touched. Once the game is complete, player rankings will be displayed on the leaderboard.

Honda is the first automotive company to enter the world of the metaverse with Honda MetaWorld. Currently, Honda MetaWorld has more than 5,000 active visitors, becoming the largest in MetaNesia. Apart from the Honda Meta Race, this Japanese company also provides other games such as Brio Skate Park, Virtual Stage, Residential Area, Urban Area, and Test Drive Area.
