Paris Accepts Death Threats For Not Celebrating Michael Jackson's Birthday On Social Media
JAKARTA - Paris Jackson 'daughter of the late pop icon Michael Jackson 'had received death threats for not celebrating his father's birthday online.
The musician went on social media earlier this week reminiscent of the abuse he faced from big fan Michael Jackson, who criticized him after he chose not to post anything online on his 65th birthday.
Here, he explains the reasons behind the lack of acknowledgment of the event, explaining that when his father was still alive, he would hate anyone celebrating his birthday.
"Today is my father's birthday, and when he was alive, he hated anyone who admitted his birthday," he told viewers in a video posted on Tuesday night (August 29).
Say happy birthday to him, celebrate; nothing like that. He really doesn't want us to know when his birthday is.
"There are times when I don't post anything for my father's birthday, and people lose their minds," he added. They told me to kill myself.
They basically measured my love for my own father based on what I posted on Instagram, he continued, also explained that instead of posting online, he decided to commemorate his late father's birthday while performing on stage.
Attaching a moment clip against the people who abused him, footage made by fans showed him on stage during Incubus' opening set at Amfitheater Las Colonias Park in Colorado on Tuesday.

"It's my father's birthday, he started, spoke to the audience. He poured out blood, sweat, and tears for 50 years, as well as love and enthusiasm to do what he did, so I could stand here, on stage in front of you and scream at the microphone. I owe everything to my father."
Returning to the clip he spoke directly to people who sent hateful messages, Jackson then told fans that if they insisted on celebrating his father's birthday, they should do it in a way he would value more.
"There's always a way to get involved in raising awareness of climate change, doing environmentally friendly things, and activating animal rights," he said. These are things he likes and really, he's very interested in. I can't speak on behalf of dad... but I'm sure dad will like it.
