Unable To Accept Bully, Youth In Berau Kaltim Stabbed Friends To Death
A young man in Berau Regency, East Kalimantan, was arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing his own friend to death. The victim, known to have the initials FP (28) was found dead covered in blood with two stab wounds.
The motive for the violent action of the young man named Charles (23) is thought to have been triggered because he is often bullied by victims. Charles could not move when he was escorted by the police to the Berau Police Headquarters, East Kalimantan, Thursday, August 31 morning.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Berau Police, AKP Ardian Rahayu explained the chronology of the murder. It is said that this case began when the perpetrator and his colleague named Anton came to the wedding party. At that location, Charles and his colleagues and also the victim held a liquor party until late at night.
During the alcohol party, there was an argument between the victim and the suspect Charles. The argument ended with a fight between the suspect and the victim.
"Until late at night they drank. There was a commotion or quarrel between the two parties so that a fight broke out," explained Ardian.
He said the perpetrator then took the badik and stabbed the victim who was his own best friend. The victim died because he received two stab wounds to the heart and left chest.
"The person concerned took the badik and then stabbed twice the heart and in the left chest," he added.
Knowing that the victim had fallen to his knees covered in blood, Charles immediately fled the scene.

"From the results of the interim examination, the motive that triggered the incident, allegedly because the suspect Charles was upset because he was often bullied by the victim by mocking the suspect using dirty words," he said.
Charles currently had to go through his youth behind bars for being charged with Article 338 and Article 351 of the Criminal Code concerning murder with a penalty of 20 years in prison.
