Mercedes Presents Facelift AMG A45 S In Malaysia With A More Aggressive View

JAKARTA - The facelift version of the high-performance Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4 Matic+, officially appeared in Malaysia after making its global debut in October last year.

The car developed by the high performance division, AMG, not only offers luxury. But also combined with aggressive appearance and performance and sporty.

Reporting from Paultan, Friday, August 25, Mercedes-AMG offers two variants of Standard Trim and Street Style Edition. Each trim has its own characteristics.

The German manufacturer brought changes to this model, including Panordina's front goal with the AMG emblem included in the bonnet section with the Mercedes-Benz stellar emblem.

The update also includes a backlight graph with a more aggressive look than ever. For Street Style Edition, get a 19-inchscaled alloy with a touch of Matte Black color.

For the impression of sporty in AMG A45 S, several components that play a role in aerodynamics such as front bumpers are sharper, spoiler, and back diffuser.

On the inside, Street Style Edition gets a seat covered with black micro fiber with orange accents, including a label on the back of the head. The steering wheel also gets the trim with contrasted orange stitches.

Mercedes also doesn't forget to add security and safety systems. These features include Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Parking Assist with Partronic and Tyre Pressure Monitor on both models.

Despite offering updates on the outside and inside, AMG still carries the same engine as before the facelift. A 45 S 4 Matic+ maintains a 4-cylinder turbocharged 2-cylinder engine, which can generate up to 416 dk of power and a 500 Nm torque.

With this amazing power, A45 S 4 Matic+ can run from 0 to 100 km/h within 3.9 seconds and travel at its highest speed of up to 270 km/h. This aggressive performance is supported by an eight-speed transmission system of AMG Speedshift dual-clutch and an all-wheel drive system (AWD).

As for Street Style Edition, AMG presents the sporty exterior color Mountain Gray Magno. This is coupled with red accents on the caliber brakes behind the wheels that make the rivals shy.

Regarding prices, the Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4 Matic + facelift is priced at 509,888 Malaysian ringgit (around Rp1.6 billion) for the trim Standard. While the highest variant with a limited edition, Street Style Edition, is priced at 539,888 Malaysian ringgit (equivalent to Rp1.7 billion).

For comparison, at the Indonesia Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4 Matic+ facelift, it sells for IDR 1.5 billion Off The Road. This car is produced locally through the Mercedes-Benz factory in Wanaherang, Bogor, West Java.
