Honda Introduces Updates For Monkey And Super Cub C125 2024

JAKARTA - The Honda Monkey and Super Cub are two iconic models that have been characteristic in Honda motorcycle lines for decades. If previously they were seen as motorcycles for beginners, now it is no longer because it has become a lifestyle trend for collectors and fans. Therefore, for 2024, Honda has announced updates to these two iconic models for the US market.
This tiny Honda Monkey was first introduced in the 1960s and was originally intended to be used in a Japanese theme park owned by Honda, known as Tama Tech. Since then, this adorable bicycle has become a well-known icon worldwide, thanks to its simple shape.
For 2024, this motor retains an adorable style but infuses modern technology. In terms of performance, the Honda Monkey 2024 is equipped with a one cylinder engine with a capacity of 124cc. To optimize efficiency, Monkey machines use the Programmed Fuel-Injection (PGM-FI) technology from Honda, while ABS inclusion improves safety.
For the year of the 2024 model, the Honda Monkey is offered in two color schemes, namely Pearl Nebula Red and Pearl Black. The price is 4,299 US dollars or around Rp.65.7 million and its availability in the US market starting September 2023.
In addition to Monkey's launch, Honda has also updated one of the most popular models of all time, Super Cub C125. Honda Super Cub was first introduced in 1958, and played an important role in the "You Meet The Nicest People On A Honda" brand campaign. Since then, more than 100 million Super Cub units have been sold worldwide, making it the most popular motorized vehicle of all time.
For 2024, Super Cub C125 retains its charming retrostyle and ease of access. This bike has a low-lying framework that is accessible, four-speed manual transmission without coupling, and lightweight construction. In terms of performance, Super Cub C125 is equipped with a single cylindrical engine with a 124cc capacity that is fuel-injected. In addition, this motor is equipped with ABS front wheels for safety improvement, as well as a convenient daily electric starter. This updated C125 super Cub is offered in a single Pearl Gray color scheme, at a price of 3,899 US dollars or Rp60 million and will be available in October 2023.
