Shoppe Express Illegal Access Case, Duga Police There Are Other Suspects
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya continues to investigate cases of theft of electronic goods using the illegal mode of access to the Shopee Express expedition service company. Because, it is strongly suspected that there are other suspects besides RFP alias Anggi (20).
"Until now, it is still under investigation, because it is suspected that the perpetrators did not commit their own crimes," said Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak to reporters, Friday, August 25.
Allegations of involvement of other perpetrators based on Anggi's modus operandi. In the action, the suspect admitted to deceiving the operator of the company Shopee Express by claiming to be from one of the companies.
Then, Anggi persuaded the operator to provide data on the delivery of goods.
"The perpetrator deceived the resi operator in the shopee express, the perpetrator claimed to be an employee of Dr. PT Erajaya, a partner of the shopee express, then with the resi the perpetrator sent an online motorcycle taxi to retrieve the goods under the pretext that he was ordered by the buyer," said Ade.

By using this mode, Anggi has launched his actions 28 times. In fact, the total loss caused reached hundreds of millions.
"The suspect managed to get the goods worth Rp. 337,458,000," said Ade.
Previously reported, the arrest of Anggi was based on a report registered with the number LP/B/2979/V/2023/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, dated May 29, 2023.
In this case, Anggi is suspected of Article 30 in conjunction with Article 46 and/or Article 32 in conjunction with Article 48 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE and/or alleged theft as referred to in Article 362 of the Criminal Code.
