WhatsApp Launches Auto Group Naming Feature
JAKARTA - WhatsApp launched the ability to create a group without having to give a name, helping users who are often confused when naming a new group.
In its announcement, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said a group that does not have a name would be automatically created by WhatsApp based on the participants in it.
"It makes it easier to start a WhatsApp group by naming based on who is in the chat when you don't want to find another name," Zuckerberg said on the Meta Channel.

In the screenshot shared by Zuckerberg, there is a group titled totaling & Li-Chen. However, unlike the usual group that can be filled with dozens of participants, the unnamed group will be limited to six participants.
WhatsApp will use the individual contact name stored by users to generate their group name.
This new feature will be launched globally for all WhatsApp users on various platforms in the coming days, as reported by TechCrunch via The Verge, Thursday, August 24.
